There are countless other reviews giving less than positive ratings for Hotel Central. We took those with a grain of salt and determined that we were going to get what we paid for. At a booking of 40Eur for a double (you can get cheaper as a walk-in if there are rooms), it was one of the budget hotels.
Our stay was satisfactory enough. We were given keys to two different rooms and allowed to choose which one we liked. The rooms are basic, but again, you are not paying for the Ritz. The floor could have used a cleaning with mop, but otherwise the beds, bathrooms and linens were clean.
There is no air conditioning. The tiny television has no remote, so you have to stand up tall and change the channels as its mounting on the wall.
Unique Quality: The hotel offers WiFi in the lobby area. Breakfast (bread, jam, butter, juice, tea, coffee) is included.
Directions: On the waterfront, 1.5km east of the Grand Hassan II Mosque.
any comments? Thanks
I am staying one night at the Ibis Moussafir Casablanca which is right outside the train station (were I’m arriving). I got a quote for 45 euros.
Here is the website.
