Ibis Moussafir Casablanca

We arrived late into Casablanca ... around 7:30 pm so we didn't want to haggle and try to find a hotel so we made reservation for this hotel .... Glad we did ..... you walk out of the Casa Vogauers train station and the hotel is on the right no more than 100 m away .... we were checked in real fast ... the room was typical Ibis hotel ... small but perfect for 1 night ..... the rooms need major upgrading .... since it is technically winter ... there is no air conditioning but you can open the window if you choose ..... the heater worked just fine .....

The Ibis was next to the train station which we needed every day.
You can take the train to the airport (note, it might take up to 2hrs....!!)

Also, it is close to the medina, ....walking distance to LA SQALA restaurant.
Very close cab ride to the beach or to other tourist areas.

I have just recently visited the Ibis next to the Casa Voyageurs train station, in Casablanca, and would not recommend it!

It is like no Ibis hotel I have ever visited! I don't know if it is a company (Accor Hotels) owned hotel or a franchisee (independent owner contracting to use the hotel name), but it has been seriously neglected.

That being said, it is much cheaper than the hotels by the airport, and convenient (adjacent to the train station).

The Ibis Moussafir is a very comfortable 3-star-hotel, similar to the other hotels of the Ibis-chain in Morocco. The rooms are very modern, clean, with shower and TV. They are heated in winter-time. The staff is very obligent and helpful. Good breakfast.

Out of the season you might get a 25% reduction for the 2nd day under certain conditions. Try and ask.

Unique Quality: The hotel has a beautiful garden, where you can sit in summer-time.

Another plus: the Ibis Moussafir is located right next to the train station Casa-Voyageurs, from where you can get very fast to Casablanca's international Airport Mohammed V.
