reserved through Expedia which can be problematic as their messages to hotel are only in English.
Accor Hotels seems to forget everyone in the world does not speak French as much hotel info and staff have limited language skills.
The rooms were nice but bathroom so modern, it was tricky to figure out how to turn on hot water and internet service that USD35 a day and a hassle to connnect.
Eventually they will figure out how to run a hotel and it will be a decent choice. great location and nice decor

Stayed a night here in December 09. It is only 2 years old and looks great - public areas and rooms. Stylish decor & furnishings - and spotless.
Got my non-smoking room as requested (always a bit of a worry with Accor hotels).
Had dinner there - a separate tip - but good.
Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful - apparently not often the case judging by reviews of other places in the city. Free wifi in the public areas.
Location is good too.
Recommend it! Its style, and the staff's friendliness.

Cool stylish hotel (Novotel Casa City Centre) restaurant. Friendly, efficient staff, a good menu and good food.
Only problem was the price - DH250 for a main course and 2 small beers!
Verging on the rip off, but let's just say you can get better value for money quite easily!
I would have tried outside the hotel but I'd had a long day and a tricky arrival at the airport, so just wanted to be fed quietly. Lamb tajine with lemons.

Novotel Casablanca City Center - where exactly is it?

This is the address for the hotel. Angle Rue Zaid Ouhmad Rue Sidi Belyout, 20190 Casablanca
Can someone tell me where it is and how far from the train station? We only have an evening in Casa - our flight leaves at 1500 the next day so preferably we want to stay somewhere close to the train station.

It is less than 5 minutes walk from Casa Port train station. If you want to go from this station to the airport you'll have to change trains at Ain Sebaa Station, so make sure to allow extra time

Thanks. Would it be faster if we take a taxi from Casa Port to Casa Voyageurs and then train to the airport or does it take about the same time if we take the train from Casa Port to airport via Ai Sebaa?
Or maybe we should take a taxi all the way to the airport? How long does it typicall take?

I think it will be much faster to take a taxi to casa Voyageur and catch the train from there. Your other alternative is to stay @ Ibis Musaphir (also an Accor hotel) which is next door to this train station. Taking a grand taxi will make sense is if you are a group 3-4, where you can split the bill
