This is a 7 room riad in a great location only 10 minutes walk from Djemaa el Fna where it all goes on. We went for the top suite which had it's own roof terrace with a jacuzzi open to the stars. The terrace was great but the room was below average. The bed was rock hard, the room was not a "suite" - just a room with a spiral staircase to the roof terrace, the lighting was very poor - makeup (wife) and shaving (me) impossible, the bathroom (shower only) was very cheaply done, and the decoration was average.
Unique Quality: The staff were very pleasant, and the riad is small and intimate with a great roof terrace - we had a meal there on our first night when we were the only guests in the hotel. Very intimate! To see if all riads were the same we checked out one nearby called La Sultana. It's a little more expensive - for our "suite" price you would get a standard room, but the standard room was far far superior to our "suite". The standard room was a good size, beautifully decorated and the bathroom was fabulous - separate shower and bath. We had a lovely meal on the huge roof terrace (it's 4 riads knocked into one), the swimming pool was a good size, and there were lounges, seating areas, patios scattered everywhere. We therefore recommend the Sultana - and not the Lydines!!
