Dar Al Hamra

We landed in Marrakesh with no reservations. This place is where our taxi driver took us. The only room available was a suite, which we got for a deal. The reg rate is $700 Dirham. The room was fab and a great inro to the city! There was a double bed as well as sitting area and a large bathroom. There was a fan in the room as well.
Everyone there was great to us, giving us a break on the price, coming to the room with mint tea and pastry nibbles, letting us in late at night when we stayed out in djemma el fna too late, and breakfast in the morning with fresh strong coffee! I just wish it was more in our price range, we would have stayed the whole week if we could have!! I actually felt bad leaving after one night!

this place is great for couples not interested in the noise and chaos of the medina at night. Taxi's can take you almost right to the door.
