Arrived here in Marrakesh late in the evening from Agadir the night before the nationwide festival of Eid and was due to start and was surprised to get a room.
The service here was good and people were polite and helpful.
The hotel has a small bar and a couple of very comfortable rooms to sit around in.
The room was 315 dirhams £23 or $45
Unique Quality: The hotel building was built in 1934 and has a colonial air about the place. With good size rooms with high ceilings and huge bathrooms this was a nice place to stay in.
Another bonus was the inner courtyard a cool place to be in the summer heat.
Directions: Nouville, Marrakesh
We stayed at Hotel du Pacha for 3 nights in all and, while not as cheap as some of the budget places in the medina, it's one of the best value places in the Ville Nouvelle.
The rooms have hot water, though no heating. Some of the rooms have a balcony overlooking a central courtyard. The staff here are very friendly and there is a TV room and bar on the ground floor. They let us store a couple of our bags here when we went on an overnight trip to Essaouira.
It cost us 350 DH (about 35 Euro) for a double. Breakfast is 30 DH per person - it's better value to go to one of the many patisseries along Rue de la Liberte where you could buy breakfast and lunch for the same price.
Directions: Ville Nouvelle, just off Avenue Mohammad V
