3.5* Hotel

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 11, 2007

I stayed in this hotel last year with a friend. The hotel was not as we had seen it on the pictures but it was not too bad. It was said that it was a 4* hotel but it was more a 3.5*
Maybe I am too picky but a paintjob is in order! Also the parasols were not white enough. They needed bleach ...LOL.

At night there was not much to do at the hotel. On their website they advertise that there is a bellydancer at the pool BBQ. We had no BBQ and the bellydancer was seen once during our stay in one of the restaurants.

The rooms are kept clean and they have good beds.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Also, this hotel seemed very popular among the French while we where there (June 27th till July 4th 2006). 85% was French.

We did have a nice stay !

Unique Quality: The waiters are friendly and very attentive. The buffet was good and variable! There was much to choose from each day.

Also, the cleaning staff was great. Can you image that they even put our shoes and slippers in a row?? They also folded clothes we left lying on the bed. Believe me I tipped them when i left :-)

Directions: It's located in a residential area and a nice one I might add.

El Andalous

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on January 26, 2006

This is a truly wonderful **** hotel:

great rooms, friendly staff, pool, Moroccan design, spa, and plenty of food! We really did enjoy our stay in room 338 - facing the pool and with a view to the snow covered High Atlas mountains!

It is situated in the part of Marrakesh called Hivernage and is quite close to the medina (about a 25 minute walk there) and the airport (max. 10 minutes by taxi).

Directions: Hivernage section of Marrakesh, about 25 minutes walk to Jemaa el Fna!
