After returning from Imlil to Marrakech, we had more time to choose a hotel and we opted for Hotel Central Palace, an excellent value place near Djemaa el Fna. On the first night we had an en-suite room, though we had to change to one without shower or bathroom on the second night as the hotel was busy on Easter weekend.
The inside of the hotel was beautiful. Most of the rooms opened onto an open air courtyard. There was a roof top terrace with nice views of the streets around the medina and even of Djemaa el Fna and the Koutoubia in the distance.
Our en-suite room was 200 Dirhams while the second was 150. This was excellent value given the good, central location.
Directions: Just off Rue Bab Agnaou, one street south of Djemaa el Fna
We did not stay here, but it was our back-up place if needed.
It was $325 for the room we saw, with air con and bathroom. Not sure about breakfast, but i think so. It is right off the main medina street, so you won't get lost in the maze of alleywyas.
typical riad with tile everywhere!
Unique Quality: Right off main street, easy to find
