Imperial Borj Hotel

Whilst this was not European 5 star and is in need of a bedroom update it was very good value for money at £58 b&b..The Imperial Borg is in a quiet area within striking distance of the new and old town.The staff are very helpful and the people are very friendly in Marrakech.The hotel is within 200 metres of two excellent clubs and many restaurants.Therefore we only went into the old town once in the evenings and had dinner locally.The hotel was very quiet and we would recommend having lunch around the pool but eating in the excellent restaurants at night .The local beer and wine are very drinkable and you will be charged high class London or Edinburgh prices if you go for imported drinks!?!The weather is better in Marrakech than Casablanca we had a week of excellent sun Jan 2007.
