We stayed at this hotel in May 2007. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's cleanliness, facilities and position near to the main shopping and nightlife areas of the Gueliz (French Quarter/New Town).
Rooms were spacious, spotless, and the staff were very polite, accommodating and genial.
A fine breakfast with cooked options, (e.g. omelettes, sausages), a pleasant poolside suntrap, and a small but perfectly formed bar.
Themed nights are arranged by Madame Nadia, and the rooftop bar and patio has a fantastic view over the rooftops of Marrakech (check with hotel for opening times).
Unique Quality: For the money, this hotel is outstanding value, with pool, saunas, fitness rooms and beautification facilities. Between two major boulevards, the hotel has some businesses including car repair nearby, but don't let that put you off, with pleasant little local boulangeries, cafes and shops, and two fine restaurants round the corner (Bagatelle and Rotisserie de la Paix) but for the upmarket shopping option, walk some four hundred yards to Blvd Mohammed V.
A true taste of the upmarket Marrakech, without breaking the bank, and an oasis of calm from the souks and the Jemaa el Fnaa.
Directions: From Marrakech town centre, up boulevard Mohammed V, turn left at the Poste (Post Office), Blvd Moulay R'chid is behind the post office. Imperial holiday is 200 yds on right.
