I have stayed at this hotel on several occassions and find the service, accommodations, ammenities and overall value for the money to be excellent. It says a lot to go to a hotel where year after year there are still the same people working there and they remember you. .
Unique Quality: The swimming pool is very big and the beds next to the pool are amazing for lazy nap as they have fans as well as a water mist. The hotel can arrange trips to surrounding cities as well as to eat at Ali Baba a dinner show worth going to see.
Room had a nice view towards the medina, for my taste it was for the money a bit small and I do like more lokal decoration , but thats opinionwise...
Housekkeping was absolutely surprised about a tip on the first day, we just needed to ask ( only french or arabic) anything and they would arrange it, extra pillow, extra blanket, flowervase etc.
The beds were comfortable and they did have wonderful toiletries.
Directions: If you leyve the medina passing the mamounia otel, just go on staight till you come to the New boulevard crossing it is right on the righthand corner across royal mirage
If you want to spend money, or if you get paid like me, then you should stay at the Sofitel Mansour Eddahbi. I can not provide you with cost information, as I was there working and had everything paid for, but I can guarantee you you will have a wonderfull stay.
Five Star Luxury hotel - Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at - just as well it was a holiday paid for from work as I'd never have been able to afford it myself!
We booked a packet , not nowing exactly
where we would end up. It was the Kempinski
hotel just behind the modern congress center
in Guéliz. A spacious neighbourhood , quit western.
It is located between the city center and
the menara gardens and in less then half an
hour you can walk into the city.
We enjoyed the luxury. It is not that we are
poolside tourist. But a swim in the afternoon
was fantastic. It was march and quit cold in
Belgium...we enjoyed the fresh fruit they
brought us while sitting near the pool.
The breakfast was simply fantastic...and with
life music. You could sit outside in the morning.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a few restaurants , a karaoke-bar
and a pool side snack. Some bars.
Roomservice was 24/7. You need to know
that a drink , say fresh orange juice , is 7x
the price from the Jemaa-el-fna.
Normally I would prefer something more in
the center and something more authentic.
But a swim and sun at this time of the year...
we were really exited about that.
The rooms have every comfort you could
expect in this cathegory of hotels and had
a safe.
