A beautiful riad... a very special place and an excellent way to end our visit to Marrakech.
Michelle, Grant and the staff were great and catered to our every need whilst making us feel relaxed and at home.
It's located in an interesting part of the city, walking distance to the centre and near to the palaces and synagogue, but removed from the hustle and bustle of the city
Riad Assakina is a beautful place. Our room was gorgeous, with exquisite light fixtures, fresh roses, and carved wood doors.
Best of all, the service at the riad was impeccable. Michele, Grant and the rest of the team were very friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival, Michele even walked us around to get us familiar with the maze of streets in Marrakech.
We definitely hope to return to Marrakech and the Riad Assakina someday.
We would just like to say a really big thank you to you, and you’re staff for making our trip to Marrakech so special. From arriving at the airport to leaving we felt that everything was outstanding and staying at your Riad made our holiday. You’re attention to detail is memorable and it is just like it is on the website, but better! We really enjoyed our morning shopping with you and are very grateful for the time that you gave us.

The Riad Assakina is fabulous: The Riad was recently built from the ground up with a brilliant eye for architecture & design by Michele and Grant, the owners. Michele has a background in interior design, and has decorated all corners of the Riad with a marvelous symphony of elegant, unique, and high-quality art and furniture. Breakfasts are delicious. Our room and bed were exceptionally comfortable. The location is perfect, with easy access to the souks, Jemaa El Fna, and historical sites inside the Medina. The rooftop has a great view with multi-levels for relaxing after a hectic day. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Michele and Grant were hospitable and generous with their time and made sure we'd find our way to anywhere we wanted to go and suggested great places to see. Grant met our taxi when we arrived and later walked us around to familiarize us with routes to/from the Riad. In response to my admiring the striking Berber doors hanging around the Riad as pieces of art, Michelle took us to a wholesale store she frequents, which sells beautiful Berber doors and other art/artifacts at great prices. She advised us on which items were genuinely old, and then accompanied us to the post office to make sure shipping would go smoothly.
In planning this trip I researched -- arguably obsessively -- Riads on the Trip Advisor to find the best places on our budget. My priorities were location, knowledgeable & helpful management for planning excursions, nice breakfasts, and beautiful decor. We booked late in the season and, encountering limited availability, we had to stay in 3 different Riads in Marrakech. Each of the three had many redeeming qualities, but the Assakina exceeded expectations across the board and was the best of the 3. When we return to Marrakech, we're staying at the Assakina again.
Riad Assakina is lovely, our room was gorgous. We had fresh fruit every day and chocs on our pillows in the evening. Michele and Grant the owners had a taxi waiting for us at the airport. Michele was kind enough to walk us arround the square and souks so we could familerise ourselves with the area.Nothing was to much trouble. The breakfasts was very good pasrtys plus cooked breakfast,just what you need for the day ahead. The riad is in the center so is easy to get to places of intreast. The riad is beautiful lovely terraces and sundeck perfect with a bottle of wine. Thought the food in Marrakech was exellent,enjoyed all our meals. We shall be going to Riad Assakina again.

Michele provided the best service I have ever experienced. Nothing was too much trouble and when she was not around her manager provided the same exceptional service. The Riad is beautiful and the attention to detail second to none. All the recommendations for restaurants, guides, shopping, hammam etc etc were superb and really made our stay unforgettable.
We enjoyed superb food both at the Riad and at the recommended restaurants and it is just a pity we didnt have enough time to enjoy relaxing on the beautiful sun terraces at the Riad.
Really hope we can manage a return visit.

This was without doubt the best hotel i have ever stayed in. The Owners of the hotel were so, so friendly and hospitable. The Riad itself has the most relaxing ambience, beautifully designed rooms and helpful staff. You will be sure to love it!

This really is a wonderful Riad. Beautifully decorated with amazing attention paid to detail.
The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed all of their recommendations for restaurants & bars.
Breakfast was delicious and the location of the Riad is great, with some great little bars near by and it's located less than a ten minute walk down to the main square and souks.
Highly recommended.
