More a miniature luxury hotel

Riad El Wiam was an excellent choice. I read through Trip Advisor and Travel Supermarket as well as Virtual Tourist, of course, and came up with Riad El Wiam as being what we were looking for, and I was right. When stepping out of your taxi, do not be dismayed by the narrow lane down which you must walk down. At the end of it is a small sentry box, and an elderly gentleman steps out and opens the door of the riad. Behind the rather weathered wall is a magnificent courtyard which is the lobby, breakfast and dining room, and sitting area. In the courtyard is a fountain and behind that is the Jacuzzi. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and changes daily. We had dinner there twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room, which was the smallest and cheapest in the riad, was lovely and very spacious with well appointed ensuite shower room with sink and w.c. The location of this guest house is right in the middle of the Medina, perfect for exploring.

I was going to recommend the Riad El Wiam but checked and see that it is fully booked for the 15th. If your dates are flexible do check on this one. We stayed in a delightful room for 50€ for the 2 of us including breakfast in January. If you go onto Tripadvisor http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotels-g293734-c2-Marrakech-Hotels.html you will see B&Bs in Marrakech ranked. The 2nd and 4th rated are both a similar price. There are a number of riads (mansions turned into 6 or 7 roomed hotels/guesthouses) in lower price ranges. Apart from being inexpensive, these riads have lots of character. Have a look at my Marrakech pages for some tips on things to see. Hope you enjoy your holiday in Marrakech. Bruce

Please indicate you budget, You can stay in a hostel from 60dh per night or a noisy hotel near to the action for 250Dh or indulge yourself in a small traditional Riad.
For some a room is just a place to lay your head to others its the "Holiday"
Have a look through the many recommendations on the Marrakech pages.
Have fun !

Have you had any luck yet? What is your budget? It will make it easier to recommend a place esp as I know some that can arrange cots and baby baths. Which i believe would make travelling quite a bit more comfortable for you.
