Riad Kaiss

Riad Kaiss is a lovingly restored house only a 5 minute walk from the Jamaa El Fna. It isn't for those on a budget but the service and facilities are delightful and to know after a hard day bargaining in Marrakech you have such a wonderful place to sleep is wonderful.

Unique Quality: Personalised Service, verandahs, swimming pool, no t.v.

Cost
from 1575 - 2425 (dirhams) depend on what of the 8 rooms you stay in. Rates include breakfast.

Marrakesh in November

by kimmy-gyal

Hello there
Planning to visit Marrakesh in mid-November and was wondering what the weather will be like and if anyone can recommend a decent riad. I have heard good things about Riad Kaiss... Please let me know!

any month is nice!! the weather i guess is not really guaranteed as it can have an offday and have rain when generally the weather is nice and fine - but to me i reckon rain is a positive thing to top up the greenery and keeps things from dying off!
november is generally a nice month - i love it if the snow has already arrived on the mountain tops in the background and usually the sky is a deeper blue - which is excellent for photography. especially out in the desert and out in the mountains.
i dont know riad kaiss but jnane mogador is a low priced one and nice, but books up quite quickly. otherwise i like the reliable and good valued hotel toulousain about 5-10 mins away from the medina , its probably two star but its always had nice staff and service, clean big rooms with ensuite and nice breakfast and courtyard to have it in. i alsolike it as if i hire a car i can park there much easier especiallyovernight, than anywhere else.

Here's all I found on Kaiss

One hotel in Marrakech that is reportedly gay-friendly is the French-owned Riad Kaiss (www.riadkaiss.com). A double in the beautifully decorated riad starts at €150.

We stayed in Jnane Mogador (jnanemogador.com), a gorgeous little riad, a two-minute walk from the main square, Djema al-Fna. Rooms start at €29. They are not huge, but are all en suite, clean and nicely decorated.
