I'll ask this this one again for me.

what is the average price (Dirhah) of a taxi from Marrakesh airport to city center? ruffle
Thankyou.

And also one more question, I see alot of Euros(EUR) being referred to in the forums for how much thing cost
as a first time travel to Morocco should I carry Euros or DIRHAH.

You! The guy on top - It's 200-250 DH.

You! Mr Bottom Guy - It's about 60 DH for the whole grand taxi, 40ish with the petit taxi.

A Ruffle costs 10 DH.

Change a chunk of your Euros to Dirhams (at the BANK in the airport) on getting off the plane - you will be paying people in Dirhams during your trip.

Have a lovely time - and as one 4 year old devotee of Krishna said to me in New Orleans,
"Don't Poo on your Weenee"

Blessed Eid, y'all -

Berber Pharmacy

This was a pleasant surprise!

"...Two women taught us about the different spices and cosmetics, one by one. We even got to try some. One batch of herbs was used for clearing sinuses. They wrapped it in a hankerchief, held it up to our noses, and made us inhale. It was powerful stuff and left all of us with watery eyes. Then, they offered an oil that takes away headaches. They rubbed it on our foreheads and then gave us a massage. I was in absolute heaven! After they finished showing us everything, we made our purchases. I didn't buy any cosmetics or elixirs, but happily purchased two bags of Moroccan Mint Tea."

Your carriage awaits

One way of seeing Marrakesh is by horse-cart. As the horse settles into a brisk trot, you feel the light breeze on your cheek and gaze at the silhouette of the palm trees standing out against the sky. It is one of the most romantic things you can do when the sun is setting over Marrakesh.

The beautiful Marrakesh !!! .............

"Maroc is Marrakesh and viceberse ! ......"

Took the train from Casablanca that was delayed for about 4 hrs.
Marrakesh, the old city is full of magic, winding streets, the big bazzar, food it's great and the sites and colors of the place are simply captivating.
Unfortunately I ended up there exactly for ramadan, so food places were closed almost all day, and there was NO ALCOHOL !!!! . Then the night was all alive.
I remember walking, on my fourth day without a beer, for miles to get to a liquor store and getting me a big bottle of french wine and some beers. In my hotel, right in front of the square/market, one of the employees offered me some hashish to relief my alcohol need ! ....
