Stay @ Mouly Idress

The Ban of Non-Muslims stying over night is lefted. There are 2 hotels in Moulay idrss Diyar and kasbah. You can even rent a room as low as 50-70 dh per night or an apartment. This city is more affordabe, friendlier and more manegable than Meknas. You can make Mouly Idress your base to explore Meknas and you can visit Volubilis. It is less than 30 minutes from Meknas and it will cost you only 10 dh.

Go to the nearby city of Moulay Idriss: There are no hotels in Volubilis...

Moulay Idriss (the neighboring city) has started letting people rent out their houses for tourists. It's a charming city and your only choice if were planning on staying the night in this area around Volubilis (short of returning to Meknes)

Bargain for your room - it shouldn't come to much (check the place first.)
