Rabat's one of oldest hotel

A quite interesting hotel, the high point of the hotel is the location: in front of the Rabat railway station, on the main avenue of Rabat: Mohamed V.
Service in the hotel is satisfactory, hotel is knwon for having a touristic range of clients.

Unique Quality: Service, restaurant, and price!

Great Location, Horrible Room

The room was really old, the heat worked sporatically and we never did find where the advertised continental breakfast was located. KEEP LOOKING....

The past grand hotel in town

Somehow faded but still grand, very conveniently located between the Central station and the medina. Good service, boring breakfast, about 500 dirhams for a double.

Best choice in the ville nouvelle

The hotel Balima used to be the best adress in Rabat a while ago. It is still a good place to stay with a great outdoor terrace, snack bar and nightclub. It is only a couple of blocks away from the Rabat train station

Unique Quality: Outdoor terrace is great to hang out, have a cafe avec creme or a the a la menthe and watch the scenery pass by

it takes less than 50 minutes from the Airport to Casa-Voyger train station and probably another 1:15 minutes to Rabat. I usually take 2 nd class ticket when travelling through Morocco expecp when I am travelling from/to airport. I use 1 st class because of all the baggage I carry. Trains are generally very comfortable and nice way to travel.

You pronaounce Mehdi (meh de); as it is written. it is no where near Mardi. Mehdi in Arabic litterally means "the guided one, the one who was shown his path in life so he can lead others, enlightened"

Hotel Balima seems to be a nice option for around 20 euro. I never stayed in a hotel in Rabat but people from tripadvisor.com seem to like it
