Good For Solo
First Class Hotel
For our one night stay in Rabat we had an excellent room, good furnishings, with a spacious and modern bathroom. The restaurants and lounges in this modern hotel were first class.
We would have liked another night in this hotel however on tour we had to leave early morning for our next destination, Marrakech and another magnificent hotel.
Unique Quality: Luxury accommodation.
The hotel features were a pool and spa, fitness centre, beauty treatments and there is parking. There are two restaurants – La Bonne Table and Le Fantasia, and a coffee shop. Breakfast was provided with my room and was a nice buffet in one of the restaurants. We were however advised not to touch the orange juice and fruit which couldn’t be peeled just as a precaution.
Rooms Need Some Attention
There are 108 rooms and 6 suites. All have aircon, satellite tv, wifi connection, mini bar and a inroom safe (which was locked). The rooms were comfortable and on first glance nice enough but tired on the fittings side. My power plug in the bathroom was broken, the aircon control unit was broken but both still working albeit dangerous. The room key was also difficult to use.
The Hotel Rabat is very close to the city centre and advertised as a 5 star in Moroccan standards, possible a 4* or even 3+ elsewhere. They offer a 24hr room service and internet is available to some rooms. The lobby and café are is probably the nicest part with a high atrium and a decorative coloured panelled ceiling.
