Help With Electronics, Please!

by inrabat

My computer cable has died for my Macbook, and I need to get a new one. No idea where to go,and if at all possible, an english speaking one would be great! If not, I have a french-speaker I can bring along-worst case scenario. Would appreciate ANY help. thanks!

This is a long shot, but when the screen on my lap top smashed I took it to a computer repair shop and they ordered one for me, it only took a couple of days.. I live in Essaouira, so I guess Rabat will have plenty of repair shops.

Travel Tips for Rabat

Bellow Kasbah

by Veroali

Sea in Rabat is calmer than in Essaouira and it is not windy. A beach bellow Kasbah is occupied mostly by moroccan children, but also several tourists. The beach is closed and protected by a rockfill dam, which is a good option for many fishermen and for a walk. Awsome view on Kasbah, city Salé and lighthouse with heavy sea.

see the Mausoleum of Mohammed...

by MProcher

see the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. He was king of Morocco when the country became independent in 1956 and died 1961.
Some years later when the Mausoleum had been built by his son Hassan II. he was buried here.

The Mausoleum is one of the most beautiful buildings in Morocco. With no doubt it is the best in substance and quality, art historically and because of the artificial work compared to any other from the 20th century!

Side street

by JLBG

While in the daytime Souika Street is always crowded, the perpendiculars lanes are always very quiet. There can be one or two people walking towards their house, but nobody strolls in these alleys. It remains very quiet.

Rabat Tip

by Krystynn

This is the Road leading to the Memorial of King Mohammed, the Fifth.

Rabat is also a lovely garden city. Here, you can see wide avenues lined with swaying palm trees... As you drive along the streets, don't forget to take a peek at the small gardens found inside the villas in the residential areas of the city. Have fun!

Empty

by JLBG

In the medina of Rabat as in every other medina, the side alleys are always an oasis of calm, whatever can be the crowd in Souika Street. In Souika Street, there are only shops while in these side alleys, there are only private houses and no shops.
