La Tour Hassan Meridien *****
A five star hotel with exceptional service and to die for bathrooms. Be careful not to get a room near the downstairs 'disco' that doesn't start until 11PM or so. Excellent French buffet breakfast included.

Hotel De La Tour Hassan, I was treated very well during my stay by all the staff. If they did not speak english they found someone who could interpret to express my requests.
I do not remember the prices as the hotel, and food cost was paid by the company I was working with in Rabat.
Unique Quality: Very Moroccan atmosphere, the food and service was very good.

I lived in Morocco for 3 1/2 years and have visited several times since, always stayed with friends -- but if you want to splurge in a beautiful surroundings pick the Tour Hassan. Good for cocktails too
The restaurant's and bar in the La Tour Hassan hotel were excellent
The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was excellent. The tea serving ceremony at the end of the meal was special. Both the chcken and lamb dishes were excelent.

We are traveling to Morocco October 23 to join an organized tour that will begin at hotel La Tour Hassan. We will be arriving by air at the Casablanca airport. What would be the best way (that is, easiest and most effortless -- we will be tired from the flight) to get from the Casablanca airport to the hotel La Tour Hassan in Rabat? Would the hotel arrange transportation for us? How would we get in touch with the hotel? Their website doesn't seem to be operational
Thanks!
You can take a train from the airport Mohammed V in Casablanca to Rabat. I'm not sure if you will have to change trains at the train station (gare) in Casablanca, but you can get to Rabat from the airport via train. Keep in mind that Rabat has more than one train station (as does Casablanca, just so you know). The main station is called Rabat Ville. That is probably where you want to get off the train.
You can also take a bus from the airport Mohammed V in Casablanca to Rabat. In this case, the bus will go directly to Rabat from the airport.
Once in Rabat, you can take a taxi to your hotel.
Have a good trip,
ElDesierto

Q: Train from Casa Port to Rabat "Hi, we are visiting Morocco on a cruise ship and would like to go to Rabat on our own. Would anyone advise us not to do this? ..."
A: "No answer to the last question, but, yes, can confirm that the trains are good, at least 1st class (air-conditioning)"
