N'Kwazi Lodge: Good Stop on the Long Drive to Inhambane
A decent and reasonably-priced place to stay on the western end of
Lake Nhambavale. Although not on the beach, the property has a pretty lakeside setting. Rooms are adequate with 3 single beds with mosquito nets and limited hot water. There is no restaurant on site, but it's a short drive to Paraiso de Chidenguele. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.
We reached Chidenguele just after dark while driving from Inhambane/Tofo. Since this was the closest place to the highway, and our small compact car wasn't well-equipped for the sandy beach roads, N'Kwazi was a good option.
