Vilanculos budget and camping
by nora_south_africa about Blue waters
nice for the price, as you can see I have added quite a few pic, I think its good to see what a camp site looks like, and on the one pic you can see amall huts, thats BASIC alternative accommodation. You used to be able to go over to bazaruto and camp at Gabriels camp site but the camp site has closed and as far as I know there is no longer budget accom on the island, if anyone knows of any plz mail me, its now called( gabriels lodge )
DIVING HOLIDAYS
by Kurtdhis
Many of the reefs off the coast of Mozambique remain to be explored. In general, the dive sites of the Bazaruto Archipelago have been protected by the troubles which kept tourists away from Mozambique. The dive centres on the archipelago are run by PADI dive instructors who are committed to preserving the health and beauty of these extraordinary ecosystems.
Snorkeling in Magaruque island

Beautiful trip to the Magaruque island of the Bazaruto archipel where you can spend most of the day snorkeling on the coral reefs, lay on the sun and have a magnificent seafood meal, cooked on the boat just for you!
Great Beaches
by littlebush
The beaches up the coast are fantastic. Tofu was a great 'getway' resort. Vilanculos was a lovely village and the Bazaruto Islands were some of the best islands ive ever been on.
The roads are in a very bad way in Mozambique which makes travelling fun.

looking for reasonable accomodation in Bazaruto Archipelago
by Fridafrosk
We´re a party of four travelling to, amongst other locations, to Mozambique in November. We´d love to stay on the Bazaruto Archipelago, out on the islands. Is it possible to find reasonable priced accomodation here? We´re on a budget. Or is staying on the mainland in Vilanculo our best option, if so, any pleasant, reasonable accomodation suggestions on the beach?
thanks!

One of the usefull sites I have used in the past for Mozambique is http://www.mozambiquetourism.co.za
If cost is the driver camping will probably be the best option but not neccesseraly workable
