Inhaca Island Explorer

Accommodation of the Lodge are spacious rooms situated around a tropical garden. Facilities include a big swimming pool that overlooks the sea, several water activities including a dive and snorkelling centre, as well as outdoor and indoor restaurants and bars.
From the hotel one can explore the island on several island paths or simply relax on the beach.
A great escape from the hustle of the capital city which only becomes visible at night when the lights shine across the bay.

Unique Quality: The island is a secure and quiet location that is a port of call for yachts, sailing boats and cruise ships seeking out a tropical option in the turquoise and crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean.
Inhaca Island has been protected since 1976 and still boasts huge areas of untouched vegetation and expanses of velvety water.

im planning on spending a night at inhaca island. i have only heard of expensive hotels. is there cheap and simple accommodation available too? please give me a number to call!

There is only one resort on Inhaca. It is more bungalow type rooms than a traditional hotel. Lovely grounds and restaurant. It's called Pestana Inhaca Lodge. Go to www.inhaca.co.za. Looks like it is about R350 per night but there is an enquiry form on the page where you can ask for updated info.

Don't miss Inahaca it's lovely and if you get a change to visit the nearby Portugese Islands it would be a bonus. You can read some more on my Mozambique page.

yes there is much cheaper lodging on Inhaca island, there is accomodation where they do diving, its more local, actaully lovely, and had a shared kitchen, can walk to the small villge and also can walk to the hotel,
