Spitzkoppe: Camp run by the local Damara Community

The local Damara community rents out some rustic accommodation close to the entrance to Spitzkoppe.

I have never had the opportunity to stay here, but a peek through the windows indicated that it was basic but adequate, and even if you were used to something a little more comfortable, it would certainly be worth 'roughing it' for the night in order to take best advantage of Spitzkoppe when it's at its absolute best in the later afternoon and early morning.

There are also a number of camp sites available.
