Hotel Heinitzburg

The best in the city!

We only stayed for one night sadly, as on our return to Windhoek we travelled on to a game farm. But I would definately stay here again. The staff are super friendly and service is good. The room we had was really nice, comfy four poster bed, heated bathroom floor, robes are supplied, there is a tv and minibar.

The hotel sits atop a hill and the patio overlooks the city, offering a splendid sunset for the sundowner!

The restaurant is charming and the food absolutely fantastic with a wine list to match!

Unique Quality: The hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood but as Windhoek is quite a small city, you are not far from the city centre.

The rooms are very pleasant with a/c or heating and furnished nicely. Pleasant gardens even with the resident Dassies and colourful Agama Lizards with a pool that was a little on the cold side, but I can imagine on a very hot day it would be perfect.

The terrace over looks the city and the sunset which makes an ideal spot for your "sundowner".

A buffet breakfast with sparkling wine is included in the price... evening meal extra!

The hotel is Relais & Chateaux which will give you an idea of the quality.
