This hotel is a center of activity in Abuja. Abuja is the political capital so there isnt the amount of business there is in Lagos but there is lots of movement. In this hotels is where you will find that most conventions and events. There is a real nice bar in the lobby area where they have live music and pretty good food. They also have a buffet area in near the lobby where they have lots of local food and a BBQ most nights. You can also go to the Chinese restaurant int he second floor which I think its the best restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is moderately placed and the rooms are nothing special but the are good enough. You can get internet in the rooms and the room service is quite good. They aslo have a nice pool which is very popular int he weekeneds, people visit the hotel for the pool in the weekends and they also have a BBQ near the pool which is real nice. There is also an African Bazzar out near the pool where you can buy very nice artistries and painting and even Ivory and endangered animal hides. Most politicians and VIPs who visit Abuja stay at the Nicon Hilton and its almost a landmark in Abuja.
