Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge: Excellent Lodge
This brand new lodge is still a work in progress. However, for being so new I was quite impressed at how few kinks there were. The food was great. The staff was warm and welcoming. The manager is a little tough, but he is doing his idea of what is best to make the lodge a great one and he will be leaving shortly.
The walk from the parking area to the reception area is steep. But you can take your time and you will never have to carry your things.
It is cold. Hopefully this is a kink that they will be able to work out because the fire that was built in the room did not keep me warm enough. Make sure you have a waterbottle in your bed, which will keep you quite warm. I used an extra blanket as well.
After trekking they will clean your boots. My boots came back cleaner than ever, with the exception of when I bought them.
Unique Quality: Great views. Beautiful cottages. Fantastic service.

Centre Pastoral Notredame du fatima: Great service! great Value!
More like a hotel than a guesthouse, this place is calen and airy. It is run by the catholic mission nextdoor. The waiters are very helpful and the food is delicious!
Unique Quality: Try the Tilapia and mushroom sauce with rice....heavenly!
