Family run Guesthouse with friendly talkative owner. Placed in a nice garden not far from some Restaurants and stores.
On some days of the weeks some kind of a foodmarket is beeing held in the evenings on the mainroad in front of the Guesthouse going down to the beach. Locals cook food mainly barbecued seafood or sausages, sell their fruits and desserts, and make music. The most lively experience we had on the Seychelles! Beau Vallon Beach by Russ60 We stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of our holiday, Auberge was a fairly comfortable hotel in pleasant surroundings. We didnt spend much time around the pool as the beach at Beau Vallon was a better option.
This hotel is situated within beautiful tropical gardens at the end of the Beau Vallon Bay beach I think it has around 40 rooms. Theme: HotelComparison: about averageAddress: At the end of Beau Vallon Bay

by Phil&Rosie This is a reasonably piced (for Seychelles!) hotel, next to the gorgeous Beau Vallon beach. We stayed in a Superior room, which had both bath and shower, twin basins, a very comfortable bed and satellite TV. A daily $2 tip for the maid provided us with fresh flowers and fruit! The pool is reasonable, with a nearby bar - be prepared to wait for service, as the Seychellois are particularly relaxed about speed of service! The beach has a wide range of sports facilities and is perfect for swimming (although note that this is forbidden after dark).
What we found really good was the wide variety of restaurants - there's quite a few in the hotel, providing Creole buffets, Chinese, Italian and Japanese menus. The Teppanyaki counter was really good value, with the likeable chef producing some great meals. Breakfast is buffet-style, with sausages, bacon, eggs and omelettes cooked to order; a range of continental cereals, yoghurts and breads are available too. Make sure you try the starfruit jam!

View looking down over Praslin Beach by Russ60 The accommadation was ok but it was a little basic when we were there, the only other complaint was the gaps under the doors invite in things you may not want.
A beautiful setting the hotel lies in amongst the palm trees a stones throw from a magnificent beach. The hotel has a pleasant pool area but most people go down to the beach

by SusanitaL This hotel is nice and clean but far away from everything, it is in the north side of Mahe Island with excellent views to St. Anne Island? The breackfast is yummy and staff are friendly. A taxi to Victoria will cost about 100RP. and to Beau Vallon beach 150RP.. Better just hang closer to everything. There is only a Chinese restaurant closeby but the hotel has its own restaurant, prices can be higher.

by marcic Run by a very warm and welcoming family who left South Africa due to security reasons a decade ago. A self catering place but a restaurant for the lazy/tired people within a walking distance. A nice garden, right off the beach and three giant turtles kids were amazed of. Since it's rather remote renting a car would be a great advantage but nevertheless we managed without one.
The most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen.

Honey moon suite by giln Large hotel (Seychelles terms...) 5 floors. The honeymoon suites, which are a bit more expensive are located on the 5th floor facing the beach with 2 rooms in it.
Swimming pool, restaurants (including Indian one)

by Chiliweenie Fleur de Lys is a set of 4 stand alone bungalows set in a tropical garden. Each has a large bedroom with A/C, a living room and a nice roomy kitchen. Its really home away from home. I'd recommend this over any other place we saw.
Beautiful gardens, great varandas on each bungalow.
