Large resort
We stayed here for a week for friends wedding. This hotel is large and our first opinion was, that it is not typical Seychelles. This resort could be built anywhere. You have to hire a car/driver to see the proper Seychelles.
We stayed in Junior Suite which is large with very nice bathroom. Bed is comfortable. We were on the ground floor with a patio overlooking the swimming pool. The resort is clean (apart from our patio which had bird 'poo' (not just one) on it for the whole week and nobody bother to clean it!
The price of drinks is VERY steep! Can of coke cost 65 rupees (cca 3.50 GBP), cocktail at least 10 GBP etc.
Service is sometime very slow. It seems that some of the staff are not interested and the best service we had was from people who are not from the Seychelles. We spoke to some of the other international staff and they agreed that the service here is not up to 5* standards, that's why they have to come here to train the other staff.
There is a supermarket cca 100 metres from the North entrance where we stocked up on drinks. Also we hired a car for few days and stopped on some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen.
If you get a good offer for this hotel then I would recommend it but if you have to pay the full price then it is not a value for money.

Tip: sometimes you can get a free transfer to the big Boat that is parking by North beach. You can get a drink there.. and a tip... pay cash, it is cheaper than in the hotel!
