2001 - new!!!I recommend excellent restaurant with kreol cuisine - Chez Plume)(Anse Boleau)
Fish very tasty and desserts you long can not forget. (especially Souffle from passion-fruit or coco-pie).
Good place a Anse soleil (not so far from Valmer Resort). To look at ocean from café terrace of lovely cosy restaurant it is possible indefinitely.

visit to Anse Lasio!(Praslin)The perfect kinds on a foot road from a stop of the bus about Auberge Club hotel and are farther in the party Anse Major.
Remarkable bays in the south of islands near ¨¢lantation Club hotel - Anse Solei, Petit Anse - Perfect nature, there are not enough of people.
We flew to Seychelles from Frankfurt by Lufthansa. Ok flight,service was good. Getting Around: You can tour Mahe by renting a car or location bus. The bus - is better, as roads (on my sight) difficult, is especial in the evening. We flew from Mahe to Praslin. It only takes a few minutes (15)and I was impressed about the beautiful panoramas of islands. The plane small but reliable. You can also get to Praslin with a high-speed catamaran. We toured Praslin by buses.The island is very mountainuous. The most charming beach - Anse Lazio.In its vicinities there are a lot of deserted and magnificent bays.
2001 -Once again Seychelles!
This time our travel began from La-Digue island .Perfect small island. It is possible to reach at local plane up to Praslin(15 minutes), then boat up to La-Digue (about 30 minutes). Perfect sea panoramas of islands and also flying fishes. Fly by above water of 10 meters. Ocean,wonderfull fishes,tropical nature and friendly peopleOne more travel on Seychelles was in May 2000.
We lived on Prasline-Hotel Marichiaro (perfectly!!!), on Mahe - hotel Plantation club (exellent!!!) and hotel Bo Valon Bay it is ((good)Good hotel Berjaya Bo Valon/Mahe.At the airport it is possible to take ï©£åê©£àíûé the guidebook to islands - free-of-charge. Visitors Seychelles / There is a lot of necessary useful and various information for the travellers.
2001 - new!!!On an La-Digue island stopped in the guest - house Rising Sun. Very well and comfortably. A hospitable atmosphere. The tremendous cook Eric. His dishes it is simple masterpieces of kreol cuisine. Octopus carry and fish dishes - taste unforgettable¡¦ Price low - about 50 dollars (half board).
Island is very beautiful from the ocean (is recommended to make excursion around of islands by a boat).
If love of walk by foot - too receive unforgettable impressions. We have bypassed on foot all island for 6 hours with stops in lonely bays. It is necessary only to take with itself a bottle of water. We in this campaign were accompanied with a local dog. Very friendly and tactful. The dog has appeared a mystical animal - mystical because when in a Bay of ants the road was terminated, ahead there were rocks and stones, the dog has shown us as on them it is possible to pass.
Still it is possible to rent a bicycle. Too it is convenient and cheaply.
On Praslin we lived in Marechiaro - there still cosy and conveniently. Were engaged we dive - is more tremendous ¡¦ Saw lot of fishes, morays, lion-fish,
rays , dolfins.And many many others¡¦This should be seen NECESSARILY!!!! Dive the center Scubamania and the instructor Massimo Pierani - is very much recommended.
It is very good to dive on Mahe - we dive with dive-center Big Blue Divers the dive-master Elizabeth J.M. Fideria-Bol (complete information www.bigbluedivers.net) we recommend too. By the way they give free-of-charge transport from your hotel up to dive of the center. On Mahe we lived rather far from them (on the other end of an island) but morning behind us precisely in time the auto has come. And back can remove too, but already in second half of day.
The small hotel Valmer resort is direct opposite Plantation club hotel. Is very clean cosy also affable staff. Info about hotel on www.sey.net We have run away there after one day in 5 stars Plantation club. To tell the truth I any more would not begin to recommend this hotel, since with change of management in it the atmosphere has disappeared and service became another. Especially kitchen - has suffered from it have replaced the chiefs - cook - and dish of steel monotonous and the local colour has disappeared.

I have been to Seychelles 3 times. One of the best destinations if you like unspoilt tropical islands.
Mahe itself is VERY small and laid back. There are very few places to eat in style in Mahe, but there are a few places in the hotel areas a bit of a drive away.
Walking is great but heat stress is an issue particularly in May because of humidity. March less humid but a bit wetter. It WILL rain during your visit often at 4pm and at random for long periods but it isn't a problem as long as you expect it.
I found an absolutely dramatic walk ( high slopes of rock-strewn hills and views to other islands over the sea. ) from beyond the Fishermans Cove hotel. 2 hours or so.... to a beatiful palm cove.
I will post a pic if I can find one in my heap of pics.
Mostly safe but a couple of high bits where you need to concentrate but not dangerous if you aren't careless. Probably safe because didn't see any risks but you should have a group of at least two / three girls or girl and bloke as the locals were friendly and pleasant but ...
I have not put much into this but if you want more info just ask.... as I am happy to help.
