Country Lodge Complex: Excellent Service

The Country Lodge Complex offers some of the best accommodation, leisure and conference facilities in Sierra Leone. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking and the service is great. Service is fantastic too! They now have their own website http://www.countrylodgesl.com

Great food, fantastic view from the top of Hill Station.Swimming pool is clean and refreshing, all together a very nice hotel.

Cape Sierra: Hotel in Freetown

Well the hotel had apparently improved, but it was pretty yucky by African Capital City upmarket standards. But if you want to know the latest on hotels in the area please call my wonderful friend Solomon Moriba, he is a journalist that we use when we visit the area and is great at arranging hotels, car hire and fixing stories in this region.

Hey even if you just want advice give him a call, if you can employ him during your trip great! otherwise just buy him dinner when you get there and I'm sure it'll all be worth it

Fortunately the prostitutes no longer have access, but they do still call from outside the fence while you're walking down the open air corridors to your room, so hey if you're into that kind of thing then I guess it's a bonus.

The County Lodge: Great resort and restaurant

The place is perched on a hill overlooking west Freetown and the ocean. Food is delicious and well served by the South African chef. Rooms are luxorious for west africa and there are plenty of activities from pool, to swimming, to gym and excursions.
