Comfortable and Clean in Pretoria
I stayed a week while in town for business. The hotel was very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. They had niceties such as free soap, coffee, tea and a good selection of TV channels; but didn't waste time on frills like chocolates, free shampoos, etc. Very clean and the staff were very nice, and very helpful. They gave great advice about getting around the neighborhood and were very concerned for my safety. For example, when they called me a cab they escorted me to the cab and made sure I got safely into it before they went back into the hotel. The food was good, although the menu was a little limited for vegetarians. The breakfast buffet was fantastic - eggs of three kinds, meat, fruit cereal, coffee, tea, juice, etc. etc. I'll definitely stay there again next time I am in Pretoria.
