Drifters Hazyview Lodge: Rainforest experience in South Africa

We stayed here for one night while travelling on one of the Drifters tours. It feels like you're sleeping in the middle of a rainforest with huge lush trees and a gushing river right outside your door.

The rooms were of reasonable size and the beds were comfortable - although you can hear everything from the room next door! Bathrooms were shared with the other guests and there was a common area with a kitchen, sofas, table soccer and some other games you can play. There was also an outside bar area as well as a swimming pool.... they also have 2 resident warthogs and a bushpig called Napoleon who roam around. They are friendly though (as long as you don't distrub them).

There are some nice walks you can do around the drifters lodge - although it is quite a humid place so it can get a bit hot and sticky!

We prepared our own food in the kitchen with the help of our tour guide as we were on a participating tour.

Drifters Hazyview Inn: Live next to the rain forest...

This Inn is located on the rim to the rain forest. Stand on the balcony and reach out your arm and grab the forest!

The Drifters Hazyview Inn is built on stilts and is located next to the Sabie River.
You can actually go river rafting in the river on tube rings!

You can go bird watching in the rain forest and just enjoy the scenery.

Unique Quality: If you don't like to take a swim in the nearby Sabie River, you can use the swimming pool in the court yard...
