In the mountain

Beautiful place inside the forest. Lodges vary from 4 sleepers to 6 or 8. You can also book into the hotel. It is a RCI gold crown resort. The grounds are enormous. There are a few hiking trails available inside the grounds as well as game drives and walks.

The lodges are are comfortable and well equipped. We had a one bedroom and the boys had a sleeper couch in the lounge. I found this a tiny bit crowdy and will go for a 2 bedroom next time.

The lodge has a beautiful sundeck with a great view over the ravine and mountains.

Queen/king size beds in bedroom. The duvet and pillows are luxurious. You don't want to get up in the morning. Very quiet. Can get cool at night as it is high on the mountain.

In winter is will be quite cold.

The lodges are serviced so you don't have to do anything. There is a restaurant, coffee shop
and bar on the premises. There is also a little shop if you forget toothpaste etc.

The games room is great for kids and adults. Table tennis, pool, darts, TV, bord games etc.
There is also a squash and 2 tennis courts and the very popular putt-putt (mini gholf).

The clubhouse is for over 16's with a bar, small library, jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna etc.

There are four swimming pools fo which one is heated.

Unique Quality: Great service, not to crowded due to the size of the resort. Very private and quiet. Excellent views from all the lodges. Not the hotel though.
