The Formula 1 hotel chain has hotels in many cities and offer a cheap alternative to the budget traveller. The rooms are small but reasonably kitted out sleeping up to 3 people comfortably. It offers a colour television and en suite shower / toilet "cubicle".
Breaskfasts are the only meals available but the hotels are normally situated near restaurants
The Humewood hotel has the best location in my view in PE. It is right on the beach-front overlooking King’s Beach and opposite the MacArthur swimming-pool complex. From the hotel it is only three minute walk to the Oceanarium and Snake Park and a few minutes to and from the airport and city centre.
The Sandpiper Restaurant has a carvery/buffet every evening and serves lunches on Sundays.
The coffee shop is open daily for breakfasts and lunches.
The Quarterdeck Bar is open daily from 10h00 to late. ...
This was a real gem, stumbled on to it on the web and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived! Three lads in South Africa to watch England fail miserably in the world cup again. We were made to feel really welcome and spoiled by Anne and husband Cedric. If I'm ever back in town I will head straight for Anne's.
Good Location. Pleasant Rooms
I stay at the Beach Hotel every time I'm in PE and it is in the perfect location. Across the street from the beach and Sharks Pier, and right at the entrance to the Boadwalk shopping complex. The location makes it ideal for a day on the beach and an evening at the casino. The rooms are good sized, clean and bright, and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean, is a great way to start any day.
