This is an excellent place just to get away and relax. It`s an excellent place if you travelling with family and want to escape the busy city life.
Unique Quality: Zimbali Lodge is a 5-Star boutique hotel offering five-star luxury accommodation, and is decorated to complement the natural surrounding forest. The classical architecture is accentuated by warm wood and russet autumn tones. The bathrooms are luxurious and feature Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has a mini bar which is well stocked with a selection of beverages, light snacks. Butlers are on hand to attend to the guest's every need including room service and a very select ensemble of delicious snacks and light meals grace the room service menu.

This is an excllent coastal resort. Its known as The Place of Flowers in Zulu, it is the jewel of the east coast and has been positioned as Southern Africa's Premier International Resort Destination. Zimbali offers visitors and residents the opportunity of living in harmony with nature.
We flew into Durban from "Nelspruit", and the whole view is quite different instead of bush, the area is lush with vegetation. We stayed about 45 minutes out of Durban at the "Zimbali Lodge" in the town of "Umhlali". The hotel was beautiful. The set-up was like a four unit duplex and each unit had a butler, so instead of calling room service you just called your butler and got anything your little heart desired. The photos below are the view from our balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean in the distance.
