Cannot locate a pic of the beach... sorry
St. Lucia, Natal South Africa
About an hours drive north of Richardsbay, you will get to St Lucia.
The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park comprises of a Rivermouth of about 60km long, which forms a lagoon parallel to the coast.
There are many different species of bird and fish to be seen in this World Heritage Site.
St Lucia is a very popular holiday destination amongs South Africans. Its a delightful seaside town with a range of accommodation and many things for the visitors to do.
Richardsbay was my home for about 5 years of my life. It's a small little town to the north of Durban on the east coast of South Africa.
Its got one of the busiest ports in Africa, and has many large big companies, making it quite an industrial town.
Unfortunately unlike many other bigger towns, there is not loads and loads of things to see and do in Richardsbay
What is good about Richardsbay is that its a very outdoor place, you can laze on the beach, go swimming in the sea, snorkelling, scuba diving even walking around the waterfront is a nice way of spending the time.
