Brenwin Guest House

Brenwin is run by Winnie & her daughter, Chantall. It lies 15 mins from the main Waterfront. It has a dinky pool, BBQ area & lush gardens. It is decorated with victorian artifacts in main house, and has african theme in rooms adjacent , which is very tastefully done. Rooms are reasonable size, has fridge, tel aircon & ensuite with shower(although not huge were adequate). Had a nice 'faded lived in feeling'.

Unique Quality: One of the best features of Brenwin is Chantall & her mum, Winnie. Chantall is great at helping out organising trips, restaurants to eat at etc. they are very friendly & take time to get to know you, make you feel welcome.

Directions: Directly south from Waterfront area (15 mins walking) under Signal Hill. Taxi from airport - around R20. (Jan 2003)

Unique Quality: This is a fabulous place. The location is superb in Green Point, it's quiet but only a 10 minute walk to the Waterfront area. The rooms are lovely and the staff are friendly as well as incredibly helpful.
