When you plan to visit the southern province of South Africa, staying in Cape Town seems to be a good idea. In addition to the town itself with its famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, it is perfectly situated as a starting point to make several interesting excursions like to Cape Point N.P., Franschoek & Stellenbosch (wine route), Kirstenbosch or even Cape l'Agulhas the southern most tip of the African continent.
