    Ah! I miss this apartment!

Oh, our apartment Leisure Bay was really an excellent choice. We found it heaven and the best part is, we had it for 1 whole month! Until now, I still dream of it even back home.

    COST:
    PER MONTH:$1200
    PER DAY: $100 (A night)

Leisure Bay Luxury Suites/ Self Catering accomodations is an excellent choice ONLY if you're staying for a month or more. The apartments are really wonderful: They come with a complete kitchenette, (So you can cook and save money!) , hot showers and a million dollar view! (That's right! The whole bay of Cape Town is yours!)

However, be warned that you do need a car here. There's no public transportation here, so without a car, you're dead! You'll just have to rely on the taxis and they can cost as much as renting a car.

Otherwise, if your budget is around $10-$20 a person, and you don't want to rent a car, and you're staying only like less than 1 week in Cape Town, you're much better off staying in the clean hostels in Long Street.

    LOCATION:

If you're looking for the beach and the view, then you'll rate Leisure Bay a 10! It's right beside the beach but it's also pretty off beaten: There are no supermarkets nearby so you really do need a car here. Also, it's located in a safe area and we didn't find it scary to do our afternoon walks around here.

    STORIES WE HAVE HERE:

    THE STAFFS VS THE CUSTOMERS

It pays to befriend the staffs in hotels. You get nice stories!

    SHUT UP CUSTOMER!

One time, we were really having a good time with the staffs and we were really noisy. We were so noisy as in the entire lobby could hear us! Wow, we were laughing, talking, laughing, talking, and you know what happens? Suddenly, someone just tells us "Sheesh!"

Someone told us to keep quiet!

Wow! I got afraid! I kept quiet right away.
But here's the shocking part: Not the staff.
You know what the staff did?

    The staff told the customer.

    "Ah! Sheesh yourself!"

I got shocked! Wow! I started laughing and laughing! I've never heard a staff do that until now!

MOM: That person was very brave.

I agree. That staff was so cool! I just hope we didn't get them into trouble!

ME NO MEET B**CH LIKE YOU

Ah, summer! It's the hotels' favorite time of the year. It's the time when the hotels get crowded and when lots and lots of beautiful money come in. It's also the staffs' worst time of the year. It's the time when they go nuts! Hear this story for example.

On a one hot, crowded, summer in Leisure Bay,
    It was really busy.
The whole place was packed with tourists! They were like sardines and they were everywhere!
The staffs sure were going crazy!
    So, anyways,
There was a tourist asking for something in the reception. The reception had a very long line of tourists and the staff there was already very busy and going crazy. The staff tells the tourist later, but you know what happens?
The tourist kept pestering and pestering the staff that he wants it now!
So what does the staff do?
The staff just gives him what he wanted crankily!
And what did that irritated tourist do?
    He tells the staff:
"Me no meet b**ch like you."
Wow! The staff sure had the shock of h** life!
    And the staff just laughed!
What else can the staff do?
But surely, that staff never forgot that moment!
Though I think, that tourist should have waited a bit when the staffs weren't so busy.

See? It pays to be befriend the staffs. They see many things and sometimes have a lot of nice stories to tell!
