Use your imagination and improvise out in the open.
Lots of desserted areas in countryside where nobody will really bother you.

the StumbleInn: the StumbleInn

The StumbleInn is a great hostel in Stellenbosch. Its a great place to meet travellers to offer advice, and they run many tours out of the hostel for budget travellers.

Can't remember exactly, but for what you get, its a bargain!!!

The view and the price (for the nice and roomy accomodations) cannot be beat. Staying in a comfortable guest house in the middle of a beautiful vineyard is great. Also, when you check in you'll find a bottle of wine in the fridge.

I stayed with my husbands sister

I stayed with my husbands sister in her granny flat. She used to rent it out.The Bed and Breakfast organisation(tel--(0216833505) has a number of members around Cape Town. The accomadation is great value and most rooms are in large luxurious houses, often with pools and private bathrooms. Prices range from R90-160.

There is a huge range of places to stay here.It does get very busy around Christmas time.Prices increase, almost by 100% this time of year. Most places get fully booked over Christmas too,so book in advance...

Holiday Inn, Water Front. ...

Holiday Inn, Water Front. Brilliant, accomadation modern, clean, treated well, lovely small pool on ground level. As much breakfast as you could eat - the selection was great! could last you all day. Free shuttle service to the Victoria & Albert Waterfront, make sure you check the latest time the last shuttle returns though.

Brand new and of exceptional standard. Small pleasant pool. The views from our room were not great, but did not go to spend time looking from our rooms window.
