Boutique Style hotel

This hotel has a "film" studio theme mainly becuase Cape Town attracts a number of international film crews (I think). The rooms are medium sized but beautfully decorated with a sumptious bathroom. Its not a room for an extended holiday becuase of the size but perfectly adequate for a short weekend or overnight stay. Its pretty upmarket and centrally situated on a road that has a host of decor and design shops as well as some great eating places within walking distance. The hotel also has paid parking.

Unique Quality: Proximity to the waterfront and convention centre as well as central city makes this an ideal hotel if you're in Cape Town for business.

The Loft Style Hotel in Cape Town

The Victoria Junction Hotel is a very modern hotel with stunning rooms and great service.
The hotel is also perfectly situated in Cape Town. Adjacent to the City Centre and on the border of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Before moving to Cape Town I stayed here a few times and really enjoyed the stay!

Unique Quality: The hotel has all facilities of a luxury hotel, including undercover parking, swimming pool and conference facilities.
The hotel also offers great views over the Waterfront and Table Mountain. With its location you are surrounded by restaurants and shops.

Fabulous Manhattan-style Loft

Upscale yet very relaxed hotel. The service was impeccable, the staff beyond friendly and helpful. Stayed 1 week. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Unique Quality: Phenomenal two-story room with kitchen (with all the dishes!), excercise bike, 2 bathrooms, (south side) view of Table Mountain -- very upscale and Manhattan-style, trendy. Tons of space. Immaculate.

This was a great place to stay; not too expensive, great amenities, great shuttle, good location.
Fun restaurant a few doors down, Hogglunds

Unique Quality: Pool, though doesn't get alot of sun due to location and buildings that surround the pool area
Great shuttle drivers, kind, informative, accomodating
helpful staff

Mingle with the models

This is the place to be seen if you're a young wannabee model/ movie star.

The entrance lobby is decorated in Hollywood movie set style and the loft style rooms are spacious and luxurious.

Unique Quality: Well located with easy access to the city as well as the V&A Waterfront.

CAPE TOWN

We are in the planning stage of Feb 2006 trip to C.T.We would really appreciate advice on where to stay whether it be close to V n A or otherwise.Although not on too tight a budget do we really need 5/4* or would a little less be adequate. At the moment we are undecided as to PROTEA HOTEL VICTORIA JUNCTION or the slightly cheaper CAPE TOWN HOLLOW.Also will the weather be o.k?Any replies would be much appreciated. Holiday Inn is always a good option. We have stayed in several Holiday Inns ( about 3 different ones in the cape alone) all over SA and other countries and they are excellent. It normally includes breakfast and their breakfasts are the best.
