Sedgefield Farmers Market
by jo104
On saturday mornings take a drive down to Sedgefield to visit the farmers market - Don't be fooled it is huge. Also arrive early if you want to fresh bread as we saw a queue as long as the market by the local bakers stall. All fresh foods, eggs, olives, veges, cheese, bread, quiche, jam - if its homemade its sure to be here.
Sedgefield has some beautiful unspoilt beaches & is a lot quieter then knysna so plan a day trip

City in a Forest
by cleocat
After reading Daleen Matthee's Circles in a forest about the elephants and the people staying in the Knysna forest in the 1800's I had to see this forest for myself.
Knysna is not only about the forest. There is a beautiful lake, the ocean, magnificent houses on the mountain slopes with a lake view, art shops, the heads and a great atmosphere.
