Big Victorian style house

Knysna Backpackers was a godsend in a town we really did not like much, the backpackers here was friendly, well located, offered parking and was spacious.
The kitchen was basic, but offered everything you needed, the staff were extremely informative and helpful.

Unique Quality:
A few thing I would say though, is that the layout of this hostel could be better. We stayed in the double room, which along with the other double room is accessed via the dorm??!!
The bathrooms were old, but clean and functional.

There was a break in on our last night here, all of the hostels linen and towels were stolen from the garden, our room backed onto the garden and we didn't hear a thing - I am glad after the police coming around that we left the next morning - I am not sure I could sleep.

  • Opinion of Price: least expensive
