the view is so beautifull
room was so clean, wide and convinent with water front view.
breakfast open buffet was just up to 5 stars one.
had no problem with them
it was my honey moon so they give us an extra care.
for any hotel in south africa, best thing if you are reserving through the internet is to give a phone call to the hotel to double check with them your reservation and your room type... everthing .... cause somes times mistakes happenes but just one phone call would fix everthing.

The service at the hotel was impeccable. The view from our room was great, we overlooked the yacht club. The rooms were comfortable and roomy, with a sliding door out to the garden.
Unique Quality: Situated in the waterfront area, which allows you to walk every where.

The hotel is located directly on the banks of the Knysna Lake surrounded by a small but stunning waterfront.
Since the hotel is almost brand new it offers all amenties in nice and comfortable rooms.
Unique Quality: The location and the fact that the hotel is new combine this with good service and plenty of restaurants near by - make this my favourite choice whenever I am in Knysna.

A nice place. Holiday Inn with African touches. As it turned out bus tours stayed there a lot. In the morning and evening the lobby would be full of luggage. Still, an OK place. This one is in town, there is another Protea on the waterfront.

A wonderful hotel located at the waterfront in Knysna within walking distance to shops, restaurants as well as close to local activities such as the ferry to Featherbed or the train station.
Unique Quality: Comfortable rooms with wonderful views of the marina. The breakfast is absolutely fresh and delicious the chef is excellent.

i would recommend it for any one who is seeking a 4 star hotel with a good view, very very good breakfast and a few steps aways restaurants and shops the best thing about the hotel is the next door waterfront and the room veiw.
We had such a great time at this hotel. The pool was so beautiful, huge and perfectly clean. The service was absolutely excellent. The staff was so nice!! We stopped here halfway between the garden route from cape town to port elizabeth. What a great place to stop! I still remember the really cool design of the room and especially the bathroom!
Comfortable rooms with wonderful views of the marina. The breakfast is absolutely fresh and delicious the chef is excellent.
