Knysna's Best Hotel and Spa
I had a wonderful stay at Pezula in January 09 and will return. The staff are very professional both in the hotel and spa... they make you feel special... our suite was stunning... views spectacular AND the golf course is in great condition! This is a very special place. Highly recommend!
Unique Quality: The resort is overlooking Knysna lagoon on one side and the Indian ocean the other side. The water in the pool is continuously flowing/changing.
While looking for a place to eat dinner, we came across the Pezula Resort. My husband the golf pro took one look at the course and announced that he "must play this course". So in exchange for him stop complaining about not going shark diving, I agreed to let him play (with me riding along) the next morning. We played with two locals. The scenery was breathtaking. The breathtaking, award-winning 18-hole course which was designed by David Dale and Ronald Fream of GolfPlan USA, rates amongst the best and the most scenic golf courses in the world. In 2001, just a few months after it opened, the Course was awarded Best New Golf Course in South Africa. In February 2005 Compleat Golfer rated it a Five Star Golf Experience.
