Wine tasting by myriam_c
A wine tasting is a real "must do" when you're in this area. There are numerous estates that offer wine tastings. We did an extensive tasting of their entire range at Hartenberg Wine Estate, which was nextdoor to our guesthouse. In their tasting room we tasted 3 white wines and 6 reds (of which the Merlot 1998 - a price winner was our absolute favourite). We didn't spit any of them out, so we were glad we didn't have to drive the car anymore!
Open Monday to Saturday.
Also open for farm-style lunches from Monday to Saturday, either in the garden or in the tasting room.
