Good Accommodation Within Sun City Resort

We had a 3 night 4 day package which included private car transfers from Johanesburg airport and return, accommodation with buffet breakfast at the Cabanas. Our accommodation was on the first floor of one of the many 2 story accommodation blocks spread throughout the grounds. Our room was comfortable and at the lower end of the accommodation available within the resort.

The Cabanas had most of the facilities you would expect at a major resort, a good dining room, excellent swimming pool with plenty of lounges and a pool bar for drinks and light meals, facilities catering for children and teenagers, animal world, trampolines, Kamp Kwena Castle, Waterworld etc.

You can also use some facilities at the other hotels, The Sun City Hotel & Casino, the Cascades, and The Palace of The Lost City. For golfers the Gary Player Golf Course is less than 10 minutes walk.

Our package for two cost $1,100 Australian dollars.

Unique Quality: We liked the accommodation being spread throughout the grounds, the beautiful gardens and the variety of animals to be seen.

One of the cheapest

The Cabanas is one of the cheapest hotels to stay at and offers excellent facilities. Its in a good location regarding being close to Waterworld and the Gary Player Golf Course. Its a fair walk to the Entertainment Centre, however the shuttle bus goes regularly and daily from the hotel and the skytrain station is close by.

The swimming pool is excellent with a lovely grassy area to sunbathe on deck chairs. There are numerous restaurants and cafes within the hotel. Parking is also available outside the hotel.

Unique Quality: The swimming pool is lovely.

An Adveturers Stay

Well this a lovely Hotel , you have the choice of a Lake-Side View or Not but never the less its a excellent place to stay.

Its the least expensive of the Hotels at Sun City and for those on a budget travel this is the Ideal place to stay. Well you have to take a bus from the Hotel to the Sun City Entertainment Area.

Don`t worry the Bus Ride is free ;-)

The Lake there is spectacular and it catters for various water sports.

Affordable Sun City

The Cabanas Hotel at Sun City has a refreshing laid-back atmosphere, which is the immediate impression guests receive upon welcome.

The Sun City Cabanas Hotel opens onto lush gardens leading down to the Sun City Lake, which is a watersport playground for visitors of all ages. The Cabanas are a perfect setting and hotel for families travelling to South Africa and wishing to stay at Sun City.

Accommodation at Sun City Cabanas is perfect for families with young children. Guests can choose between Standard Cabanas, which are all air-conditioned with TV and radio and a shower en-suite, whilst the Family Cabanas are larger, accommodating four people with a full bathroom. The palette of vibrant colours used throughout the rooms at the Cabanas accentuates the fresh and relaxing atmosphere that you will find at this hotel.

Paradise awaits Children at the Cabanas in Sun City.

The pools at the Cabanas have been designed with children in mind with a shallow paddling pool and a 'grownups' pool, which are both heated. Letting off steam and running wild is easy at the Sun City Cabanas as there is plenty of space throughout the extensive gardens.

Kamp Kwena, the animal farm and waterworld are all in close proximity to the Sun City Cabanas Hotel and offer perfect entertainment options for children. Sun City Cabanas

Apartment hotel in Sun City with well fitted rooms overlooking the lake.

Unique Quality: Breakfast here is simply incredible.
Apart from luscious buffets with everything you can wish for (and enough to eat for a whole day) you can have your own omelettes made with any filling you wish.
