The central part of the rest-house has a reception area, a boutique, a restaurant and a living room. The walls have traditional decorations and are made with local bricks covered by hand-spread clay plaster as is traditional in the Nubian area.
My informant spoke of 500 Sudanese Pounds per person per night which sounds extortionate, even allowing for the lack of competition. This is 250 $! However I have since been told by Magdibahar that the price is for two persons per night.
The rest House is part of the Italian Tourist Company Sudan., which has other places in Sudan.
Great view of the mountain
