Tabidi Hotel
The budget choice in Kosti isn't too bad...officially a laconda (dormitory) there are quite a few smallish rooms, which can be rearranged if a female arrives unexpectedly. The bathrooms are a bit on the whiffy side, but so are most bathroom in Sudan, luxury or not. Avoid the room right next to reception if you think it might rain...not only does it leak, but the roof is made of corrugated iron, so rain sounds like a bombing raid!
